Our Hoop Installation Process:
Any in ground hoop installation has three crucial steps. Step one is the setup, step two is the concrete footer set, and step three is the final hoop assembly. All of these phases are crucial and can be done incorrectly. This is why it’s important to trust your hoop installation to a professional that has been properly trained. Step 1: Hoop Installation Setup
Determine what hoop model will fit the intended playing space.
Choose an ideal location to install the basketball hoop that maximizes playability.
Determine if there are any obstacles that could hinder installation.
Call 811 Missouri to locate any underground hazards that could be in the area. (this is included with our hoop installation services)
Step 2: In Ground Hoop Concrete Pier Installation
Dig a 3-4 foot hole in the proper location keeping hoop overhang in mind.
Assemble the anchor kit provided with the hoop and set this in the wet concrete along with the rebar provided for added hoop stability.
Let the concrete cure for at least 5-7 adding 24hrs for every day of rain days to insure proper strength is reached.
Step 3:
Check to make sure the hoop footer has cured properly and is ready to bear the weight of the hoop system.
Install the rest of the basketball hoop being sure to follow the instruction manual to prevent injury or damage to the hoop.
